When I ask people what they want out of life the first thing nearly everyone says is, "I want to be happy." But when I ask the same people to define happiness, they often hesitate and struggle to answer or may even tell me that they more often feel sad. I am here as not only do I want to help people define happiness but I also want to help them achieve it. I hope you're here because you want happiness too.
Hello, and welcome to A Dose Of Happiness! My name is Karen Judge and I am a Functional Mind Health & Happiness Practitioner which means I work to help people get to the root cause of happiness. I created A Dose Of Happiness as I'm on a mission to shift the stats and outcomes surrounding stress, anxiety, depression and suicide. I created this space with the intentions of helping people prevent illness, and fast track them to happiness. My years of education, research and life experiences have given me the knowledge, compassion and ability to develop a proactive and flexible style of thinking I call, 'Mind Health' with happiness as the outcome. It's way of thinking and living teaches people how to master skills and build tools that will lead them to their happiest, healthiest and most successful selves.
Through public speaking, facilitating 'Mind Health' workshops and retreats, hosting happiness events, performing 'style your happy' makeovers and by the sale of my 'happy' products, the goal is to develop mental well-being in individuals, families, the workplace, communities, and schools.

Return On Happiness (ROH) Workshops are designed for organizations and groups looking to improve health and happiness among their people. ROH equals ROI for the mind and for the bottom line. With mental illness such as stress, anxiety, and depression as the number one disability claim a Happiness Lunch & Learn or a Happiness Workshop can be a great first step toward creating change among your team. This is a 'People' first session that will lead your team to positive outcomes. In each instance, content will be delivered for the purpose of teaching tactics that lead people to become more productive, creative, innovative and engaged. It can even spark people to show up to work for what they give versus what they get, call in sick to work less often, be better problem solvers, stronger leaders and become more joyful.
Our company booked a half day workshop and we're glad we did. Not only did our team leave with great information but most of us started taking action right after. Some of us have even incorporated what they learned at home. The biggest take-away was the STOP & GO method which we now have posted allover the walls of our office. It's a tool we've been using to help us manage and measure difficult or stressful situations. Our team just hit our sales targets for the month and we're super excited as that's the first time we've hit our goals. We contribute it to what we learned.
